Bangle Seller & A Barber

I have`t posted any article from many days, because i was busy in collecting photography from different locations to show you the real glimpse of India, as you already know that India is a country of villages and nearly 80 % of of population belongs to rural areas. Nearly 50% of the villagers very poor socio-economic conditions. As now Indian Government is also trying to improve the financial condition of farmers and villagers and they have many different schemes for rural development . But still many of the villagers are still stuck in their old belief and traditional values and they are living in below poverty, they are working in extreme hard conditions to survive.

Here i would like to tell you about a person who spend his whole life in selling Bangles door to door, his name is Prakash and he belongs to nearby village, he is selling bangles since he was child his father was in the same business. While talking to Prakash he told me that he walk nearly 20 to 30 Kilometers daily to sell his bangles, while caring the bangle stand on his back made of wood. Its a kind of extreme hard work we could not even imagine. He told me that how much you can earn in a day, he replied me that he get enough to fulfill his family needs. And what he earn maximum  2 to 3 USD in a day. So, many of us cant imagine that what hard work is needed to earn a little amount for this person to fulfill the each and every need of his family.

The next interesting story is about a person who is a Barber and his name is Lallan he is a barber by choice as many of us have family doctor, family lawyer, this person is a family barber of many families in my area, and the most amazing part is he don`t take money from his customers but despite of money he takes wheat, rice, and pulses on monthly basis. He has fix customers and he goes for hair cut on demand to their homes. This is the main source of income of this person.

He also travel to local bazar and weakly markets held in nearby villages for hair cutting. When he was of 17 year he started this business and now he is 45 years old. He told me that in festive season he earns a handsome amount to fulfill the needs of his family. As he is living in a village and he don`t have a single inch of land for farming, this work is the only source of  his income.

One interesting thing i come to know about this person is he never been to cinema hall in his whole life but he like to watch Bollywood movies whenever he get time or in late nights. The purpose of telling the story about these two different personalities in my blog is to tell the world that still there are many examples in rural India like this. Who are living their life without having any amenities in their home, and they are struggling so hard to make their children successful in their life.

While talking to him i come to know that he has a daughter of 15 years of age and he wish that she might be a police officer some day, he believe in simple living and high thinking, and he is trying his best to fulfill his daughter`s dream.

  1. Pexels is a free stock photography website.
It wasn’t until last year that I learned about this site (thanks to a reader), and I’m so glad I did.
I absolutely love Pexels. It’s the only website I use when I need free stock images for my blog posts.
I think this could actually be one of the most useful websites for bloggers. Especially in a time where visuals are a must for your blog content.
